the movies never really stand upto the expectation maybe coz we all hav our own imaginations wen readin the book (i mean we imagine the best ) which is possibly different from other's viewpt..like i expected the climate to be a bit more gloomier than shown for eg lol likewise i can point out loads that i wud hav wanted in the movie so basically any movie adapted from a book disappoints me altho hp tops the list of disappointment lol

I would have had expected Harry Potter to far better too - in real life.

.i really like the story and expected the plot to be shown like in the book but none of the movies lived upto my expectation.the 6th book was my fav but i hated the movie as much

i watched the movies first, and really liked them.
now i am reading the books and can see why you'd be disappointed with the movies... haha.
the books are VERY good though... well, i'm only at the first one.

Steph.... stolle isn't nice. too flat, too brown, too tasty. i do think however, that this wasn't my fault but the recipe's fault. a woman in luxemburg made it up and what do they now about stolle... i am getting a new recipe of a friend of my mother's and i'll try again.

oh and before we forget why we're here at all....

haha i had a similar case like u for the first 3 movies .actually wen there was the buzz abt the 1st movie,i took a peek at it and hated it coz i was clueless totally and then my friend insisted me to watch them and i liked them .then she asked to me to read the books and after readin the books, i went bak to hatin them

awww poor stolle! lol yes definitely try a recipe straight out of Germany. People always tend to alter things when they adapt recipes from other places, may work, may not.

lol everyone wants a little piece of home when they do things. Adaptations of food is like language, the British brought English to the Colonies/America and we changed it up to fit us as a people. Mere desire for individuality.

i started cleaning last night.... it was fantastic xD probably because i had music on too, when a peaceful environment is set, things are at it's best. Like right now, my next door neighbor is singing... it's quite nice.



yes, i ought to go find something to eat too but at the moment, i'm trying to find something(s) to make for Christmas.... seems like everyone else is having cooking fun and i want that too! xD

there are so many great things you can make for christmas. BUT my all time favorite (during the whole year) is fresh cheese cream cake with jelly icing. very easy, very fast, only 25 mins of baking... and not too sweet... does not taste as sweet as Leo Messi anyway (see! I did it AGAIN!!! And he tastes sooooo sweet LOL)

I like listening to music too when I clean (just did my kitchen and now I make me a burger) but I am watching Gilmore Girls while I am doing this.... and one of my dogs and my cat are watching me, they want some of the foos I guess. And then I'll go on writing... you said you like reading Steph, didn't you?

Yes there are. The thing with me, is that i love making (or trying to make) things not accustomed to me (international cuisines) or something i never tried and is rarely seen and mentioned (gingerbread cake for example). I just love variety in food rather than the same things.
Haha i bet many girls think the same, oh how chicas can be competitive xD


I have a cat... he does the same. Really, he follows people around a lot just to see what he can get off of them by acting all cute. =p

I LOVE Barnes & Noble!! Everytime I'm in the States I have to spend hours in there. And I'm the same with books, I have two shelves full that I didn't read yet but I am slowly catching up now.

LOL seriously it's a great place to spend time! My sections are the Philosophy, Fiction & Lit, Music, Cooking and Magazines. The area where i go to Barnes and Noble is awesome to me.. they have some nice places over there.... i might go down that way one day and take photos and play with them on my laptop... i ought to buy a new digital camera actually.

well my cat is Leo Messi.... NOT!! Haha, my boyfriend would kill me.
Her name is Billy Jean. My chow chow is Lola, my golden retriever is Lucy and my ferrets are Minx and Pebbles.
I had two bunnies too (Heathcliff Huxtable and Robby Ray) but they were stolen earlier this year.

The cake is easy, you need 100 g of butter, 100 g of sugar, mix them.
100 g of flour mixed with one teaspoon of baking soda, mix with the butter & sugar and 1 egg.Then bake it. Put some almond and hazelnut powder in it.
Then for the filling you need 400 g of fresh cream cheese, 2 tablespoons of milk, 150 g of powdered sugar, mix it, put it on the cake (when it's cold.) the put hazelnut powder on it.
Then 500 g of fresh cream, 2 pcks vanilla sugar, whip till it's solid, put on the cake.
Then make some jelly and pour a bit on top (when it's cold) and wait till it gets solid. tadaaaaa

lol that would be funny... but it's quite a joy to mess around with boys like that.... celebs/athletes/etc can be quite useful for that xD
