An my second thing is....

I found that if you go on 'advanced' on the permissions of a forum in the admin panel. You can check 'view the forum' and not check 'view the topics'.

This is ideal to me, what happens is they will see the full list of forums etc. but when they click on one, they will then be asked to log in/register.

Otherwise, they just see that one forum, and they may think the forum is dead, but if they see all the 'last post by...' details, they will see we are very much alive!

This has to be the best option right?

Shall I/you do it?

here goes:

No, i cant :(

I could make the background the colour of the board background.

To be honest, i dont really like the idea anymore! I think the second suggestion about the forums being visible from home page, but not accessible is better

Re: Home Page and Forum Structure

Id been looking for a long time to figure out how to get custom titles to the head of each categorie.... and now i understand it a lot better.

If you allow it, I can make it so, (with the example of The Beautiful Game) that The Beautiful game is in the title in the blue bar, and just the 4 forums are listed underneath. So we dont have empty forums called the beautiful game and general chat

Yes? No? Understand?
