Question

I know this forum is created for Messi-Fans and people who are interested in football.But I wanted to ask something.
Can't we have a few sections more for Books,Movies/TV and Music?I know,we can post these topics in the Off Topic-Forum,but wouldn't it be better,if these things had their own sections?
I mean,it's only a suggestion..

I understand what you mean. To have them more visible in that case you don't have to keep going back to the off topic section or so that they don't get lost in all the topics that are there.

I guess the reason why we don't create a section for each is because we want to keep the place a little organized. If anything, we can make make an Entertainment section where books, music, tv/movies ect will be all together under a less vague section like the off topic one.


I guess that means transferring any topics that already exist in there to the Entertainment section.


If the two boys of the Leo Trio want that then it shall be done.

We currently have 'off-topic' 'fun and games' and the highly sensible 'randomnicity' under the heading 'general chat'

I suppose we could broaden like this:

Off Topic
Entertainment?
News or current affairs?
BIRTHDAYS!?


It would also be possible to have sections off entertainment. eg. match archive comes off barcelona. which could split it further into music film etc.

if that ^^ was to be agreed, i think we would have to reduce their visibility on the homepage though though. there would be a silly amount of stuff to list.


Maybe i could physically do some of those ideas^^ and post screenshots of how they would look>

love & relationships
things that piss you off

etc..etc...

Something like love & relat. can be sub divided into things like family, friends, animals(yes i went there) partners or people in general (I'm sure "things that piss you off can also be apart of the overall topic) but other topics in the current Off Topic section can't really be done like that. So...what? make those Way Off Topic? xD

I have ZERO idea.

So what are you suggesting should be done? nothing?

I think we could try something at least. Maybe at least try what you said(with L&R possibly included) and then later see how everything else falls in place.

Maybe end up finding some other name for misfit, outcast topics.

haha really? Well, it could have actually worked, Birthdays can roam in their own little corner or be with Everything Else. Birthdays aren't that much of square losers though. =p

it depends if you want to stick to what has already been done which is the second one.

But i can go either way with it. Both work for me

Only concern with the second one is how long it could be, depending on how many subforums we have..

Also, the match archive, picture gallery and video gallery will be impacted by the choice. As stephanie said, they currently adopt the second layout.

But it has to be one or other for everything :(

If you want to use the first one, and if you want, You can actually make sports talk in there too. Or it can just stay in it's on separate thing, that's fine too.
