It's a bit hypocritical for me to comment as I'm the sole exception to this. But, the mods and admin people here are people who have been here since the beginning. You became a mod during the time that Islam was just returning from his absence. You got this as a token of how good you had been over here. After this, Islam was back, and you left for a good 6 months (not your fault, i know). During this time it was just stupid to have an inactive mod.
Now there are different -figurative- criteria for admin to consider you to 'become' a mod. Something which you have not met.

You may I ask why I'm an admin then? Well, I was told it was because i had changed things drastically.. revolutionised us, even.
Also, I didnt ask to be 'upgraded'. Unlike somebody.

Make a difference? I have tried to be different and to make the forum better in so many ways over like the last 18 months or so. You have sometimes agreed with my ideas to improve it in the past which is good but islam never seems to.

So like I said, I have tried to make a difference but I could say that it hasn't really gotten me that far has it now.

first off let's all not get overly hostile...
resolve things first....last thing we need is things to blow up into anything else.

Besides.....technically, we don't cover that many sports.... we are still excluding a few. Plus only tennis is being really commented on.

Also, frankly, we don't even cover teams as well and honestly as we could give or take a few reasons behind that.

We should create team topics to post all facts/information and news updates there.

if we do that, we would have to figure out what teams.
Of course, we would make all the big ones and others will be left out or we'll have most of the English League and a select few out of Germany, Spain and Italy. Then other Leagues/Teams would be left out.

Then there are the national teams. Out of pure honesty how likely is it going to be that Bolivia (for example) has their own topic compared to the Netherlands(for example)
Then there will be the member who comes along wondering what about there team and might feel we are a little biased or they will create a topic for their team and not many will comment (the South American Topic for example)

It'll be hard to make the transition and why do it now when we are already known as a Lionel Messi Forum.

Understandable that you didn't take the topic deletions lightly.
It is hard work to do all of that.

But we have to have things agreed on first as Islam said.
The action of us moving topics is different from deleting and for that, there are reasons for both.


The thing about having the biggest clubs with their own topic is that, they might just be created along the way....and there are going to be those people who say, :my club is great no matter what, so and so doesn't deserve to be a great club blah blah blah"

everyone has a different idea of who are the "Biggest/Best Clubs"


I'm not sure...correct me Dom and Islam, but you can probably regain being a mod....i'm sure it's not much of a problem at all. It's not lost forever since we have plans in mind.

Yes you have tried, and maybe you feel (well you do feel) that you aren't being noticed as much or as often as you used to. We adore suggestions but we need to review them as well, but at the same time, we have standards. We will agree and disagree.....maybe even the guys would agree and i won't, vice versa, or maybe one of them and I will and the other admin won't.

Fred, we don't think all your ideas are crap cause we know you can create some more ideas. Plus, you don't even have to be this great creator to "make a difference" Some of the members here just post a lot! or say brilliant comments!

u possibly think this is going to improve the forum, as a forum, but not as a messi forum it wouldn't, it won't make a difference
actually, it's gonna make it less forum of messi and more of football, and that's excatly what i refused, check out my first posts

look, i'm not trying to make u mad, if u suggest something, the 3 of us have the right to accept it or refuse it, sometimes i - the creator - suggest something and both dom and stephanie won't like the idea, i won't go and do it without their permission

as i said, dom added to this forum as messi forum, and if u check previous posts, and poll results, no one said ok, not only me, right?

i would hate it if somebody deleted my topic, i remember stephanie hating the fact that i complained about the title of her topic, real madrid, which became one of the most active topics on this forum
